I have three major goals for my writing next year. The first being organization, the second is voice, and the final one is fluency. My first goal is my topic organization, which I will use outlines to help make my papers organization a lot better. Outlines will help by making sure that all my information is not in places that it shouldn't be.
My second goal is to use a better voice while writing. To complete this, I will reread every piece of writing I do and make sure it sounds like it has the right voice. My final goal for my tenth-grade year is to make all of my sentences flow better. Once way I can improve this is by using better words, that flow nicely together. Overall these are my main goals for the next school year.

Areas to Work On
Obviously, there is still a lot of areas that I as a writer need to work on. The first one being the length of all my paragraphs. On every single paper, we have done this year I have struggled to reach the minimum length requirement. Although the topics may have something to do with this, I think that to write a good essay it has to be a perfect length for the topic.
Another one of my main weaknesses is the organization. When writing, I feel like I might lose the reader in the organization, and it will confuse them. To help change this, I could start making more outlines before I write an essay. Writing an outline could really help me improve on the order my topics should go in.

Strengths
I am not the best writer, but I do have a couple of strengths. My first strength is vocabulary. Using lots of different words in every sentence. My second strength is in the meaning of my writing. Every piece of writing I create I try to have a deeper meaning of the post. The final strength of mine is making up creative ideas. My favorite things to write about are what I want to write about, so whenever we got to do Free Post's for the blogs, I really enjoyed the writing.
Improvements
This year I have learned that I am only good at writing things I care about. If the topic we are writing about doesn't interest me, then it will be very hard to make the paper sound nice. Also, this year I learned that I am not the fastest writer, and it takes me a lot of time to write even really short papers. The final thing I learned about myself this year is that I actually enjoy to write some things.
This year I have defiantly seen a lot of improvements in my writing. For example, I think that my blog posts got better and better over the year. Also even though I still am very slow, I got a little quicker at writing. The final thing that I improved on this year was the revision part of making a paper.

Writing Center
The last time I went to the writing center was in the beginning of the second semester. I went to the writing center to get help on my research paper that we were working on for English and Social Studies. Even though this was my second time going this year, I was still pretty nervous to go in. I thought that the writing center would be very scary, and the other students wouldn't help that much. Once I finally walked in and sat down I realized I was wrong and that this was a place to relax, not stress.
Once my writing fellow and I started to work, he asked me to read it out loud. When I heard this, I thought that it was going to be so useless, and thought that he should be the one doing this. After reading it aloud, I realized how many mistakes I could have fixed by doing this myself. The once we fixed those I told him we should work on my transitions. When we finished I reread my paper and realized how much better it sounded by such little work.
